be based in Mexico for the next few years so it seems like a waste to let it rot
in a garage.

It is has been garaged since 1995. I have only put a few thousand miles on it
in the past year and a half.
Service history: all service done by Mitsubishi. I also have the extended
warranty that is good up to 80,000 miles.
Damage: None that I know of. I had the hood and top painted a few months ago
because of some slight cracking. Paint is virtually flawless!
Major parts replaced: Clutch, about 500 miles ago. Done by Mitsubishi.
The car is basically stock, does it need any more? From 1995 to 1999 it was
owned by the owner of a Mitsubishi dealership in California. He in turn sold it
to my stepfather who drove it about four times a year. I bought it from him
about a year later and instantly took command of a Yacht down in Mexico,
hence my sale.

I won't put details about the car here since you can read a ton about the car all over this web site. If you go to the literature section, virtually every article includes pictures of a red 95 VR4 Spyder. In particular, the cover story of 94 MotorTrend has a great article with lots of detailed pictures and the same color interior.
If you are not from that area, it is often possible to get someone from the area to take a look at the car for you. You could arrange this on 3si.org message boards. Obviously, you would only do this if you are seriously interested in the car and can afford it since you will be taking the time of at least two people. Shipping cars is also possible. I once had a car shipped from Hollywood to New Hampshire, about as far as you can go, for $944.
